Friendship Park is located on the edge of Friendship Village, Adams Township in Adams County, Central Wisconsin just below the Hydroelectric Dam that regulates the water levels for Friendship Lake. The Lake is fed by both Fordham Creek and Little Roche A Cri Creek class trout streams. Directly below the hydro dam is a small pool of water making great fish habitat just before the water turns back into Little Roche-A-Cri Creek which is still a trout stream. There’s a newer arched walking bridge that suspends over the creek from the north side of Friendship Park to the south side giving access to the winter sledding hill. Also on the south side of the park you’ll find a small wildlife pond used mostly by Birds, Frogs, Turtles and other Wisconsin Wildlife.
Friendship Park offers a nice genuine park like setting with a view of Friendship Mound (private). It features sand volleyball courts, barbecue grills, a large picnic pavilion for outdoor parties which you can get reserve and plenty of playground equipment for the kids like swings, slides and a merry-go-round. So, if you want to spend a nice quiet day enjoying the outdoors doing some trout fishing, picnicking, playing a little sand volleyball even pushing someone special on the merry go round then put Friendship Park on your agenda.
